Alaska State Park Pass

The popular Alaska State Park Pass for camping was discontinued in 2004 and is no longer available. There are, however, a number of Alaska state park passes for parking and boat launches available except for disabled veterans:

Alaska State Park Daily Parking Pass: $40 (a second Alaska State Park Daily Parking Pass can be purchased for $20 as long as it is for the same family and same address. Any additional Alaska State Park Daily Parking Passes purchased are full price)

Alaska State Park Boat Launch Pass: $75 (a second Alaska State Park Boat Launch Pass can be purchased for $40 as long as it is for the same family and same address. Any additional Alaska State Park Boat Launch Passes purchased are full price. If both the first and second Alaska State Park Boat Launch Passes are purchased together there is a $15 discount and the price for the two is $100).

The available Alaska State Park Passes are good for the calendar year and are honored in most state parks. It is important to note that some state parks are managed by private firms and will not accept annual daily parking use or annual boat launch passes. To make sure whether the annual Alaska State Park Daily Parking Pass and the annual Alaska State Park Boat Launch Pass will be accepted, contact your local state park office for more information.
